Why Canterfield Creek neighbors go
JAARS Day is a one-of-a-kind family outing close to Waxhaw, with aircraft and land-operations demonstrations, optional airplane or helicopter rides, interactive museum exhibits, children's activities, food trucks and giveaways. It gives Canterfield Creek families an educational outdoor experience that feels different from a typical fall festival.
Tips from the neighborhood
- Check the official page for ride availability and any tickets or sign-ups before you go.
- Wear comfortable shoes; demonstrations and exhibits are spread across the base.
- Food trucks are on site, so plan lunch there.
