Why Canterfield Creek neighbors go
Waxhaw's Veterans Day ceremony is a short, meaningful hour downtown to honor local veterans and service members. It's a good way for Canterfield Creek families to show support for veteran neighbors and to help children understand what the day is about.
Tips from the neighborhood
- The ceremony has traditionally been held near the Military Wall of Honor on Main Street; confirm the spot on the town's page.
- Arrive a little early to find parking and a place to stand.
- Invite a veteran neighbor to come along.
